us lower are cars by installing shorter springs. This
is the easiest way to achieve lowering but it has disadvantage
that the suspension travel is reduced. An alternative
way to lower suspension of a car is to relocate the
hubs and spindles upwards. This is ideal since it lowers
the car without changing any of the suspension geometry.
The car suspension can be lowered in two ways. By purchasing
our springs, such as an Edelbrock Eibach set, or a kit
that includes springs and units. This usually drops
a car around a 1/2 an inch, up to a 1 1/2. Or using
a Coil-Over spring/strut combination. For instance,
both Edelbrock IAS and Bilstein make some lowering kits
in this way. A Coil-Over setup can lower a car as much
as 3 to 4 inches.
